Lisa's Corner

A space for queer survivors to gather, remember, and be surrounded by people who understand.

About

What is Lisa's Corner?

Lisa's Corner is a bi-weekly gathering space for the queer community, hosted virtually with occasional in-person field trips. This is a place to gather, remember, and be surrounded by people who understand the reality of surviving after experiencing loss.

Who This Is For

Queer survivors who need a dedicated space.

Lisa's Corner is exclusively for LGBTQIA+ survivors who have lost someone to suicide. It is a dedicated place for shared lived experience, grief, and mutual understanding.

Here, we gather as people who get it, people navigating loss, grief, and survival during a time when surviving itself can feel hard.

How We Gather

Virtual Meetings

Bi-weekly online gatherings create a consistent, accessible space for connection and remembrance regardless of location.

In-Person Events

Occasional field trips and local meetups help deepen bonds and offer alternative ways to connect and hold space together.

What To Expect

You can expect supportive conversation, remembrance, and a community centered on lived experience. Lisa's Corner is structured to hold space with care, respect, and a profound understanding of what it means to survive.
